Southwest High School Alumni Association
POWER OF THE PATRIOT PRIDE
Founded on July 10, 2012, the Southwest High School Alumni Association was created to bring together graduates and former students of Southwest High School in a meaningful, lasting way. As a legally recognized organization, our mission is to strengthen the connection between alumni and our alma mater, providing both financial and moral support to the school through memberships, fundraising, and donations.
We believe that the pride, knowledge, and values we gained as students should continue to shape the future of Southwest High School. Our commitment is to ensure current and future Patriots feel supported, inspired, and proud of where they come from.
Our Mission
The mission of the Southwest High School Alumni Association is to promote the welfare of the students and school, while supporting the administration’s mission and goals. We are dedicated to fostering ‘Patriot Pride’ by strengthening the bonds between alumni, students, faculty, and the wider community.
Our Goals
We aim to create a thriving, connected alumni community that uplifts and strengthens Southwest High School while celebrating the accomplishments of its graduates. Here is how we do that:
Reconnect and Engage Alumni: Create opportunities through social media, meetings, and events for all alumni to participate, regardless of location.
Increase Communication and Membership: Keep alumni informed, involved, and invested in the future of our school.
Support Students: Provide scholarships, mentorship, and encouragement to help students reach their goals in college, careers, and life.
Instill Patriot Pride: Remind students that they have a community of alumni who believe in them and their potential.
Preserve Our History: Documenting and celebrating the milestones, traditions, and achievements of Southwest High School.
