Annually, the Southwest High School Hall of Fame seeks to honor alumni members who are noted for high level of achievement in his/her field of endeavor and who make significant contributions to that field. These honored alumni members are people who exemplify the tradition of excellence fostered at Southwest High School. This program of recognition will reinforce to the students of Southwest High School the importance of a sound educational foundation.

A selection committee made up of alumni members will select inductees for the school Hall of Fame annually.
